The issue of private universities in Nigeria demands a national attention.
I am of the opinion that their charges are a mockery of Nigeria’s educational system. If the then missionary schools had charged exorbitant fees, many Nigerians would not have been educated.
Some of them inevitably might have end up being a local farmer or fisherman in their various villages.
Most of us, even some journalists had not seen any thing wrong about these private universities admission requirements, even when it is glaring that they are unattainable for the masses like the way the kingdom of God is not for sinners. Who will help this nation?
